The Intentional Motherhood Retreat 2025

October 23-25, 2025 | Portland, Oregon

In the past two years, hundreds of mothers from around the country have gathered with us for a weekend of worship, teaching, connection and to seek God together.

We can’t wait to do it all again at this year’s Motherhood Retreat, this time in Portland, Oregon, October 23rd through 25th.

We know that motherhood is both beautiful and it is hard. It is both life-giving and exhausting. It is full of both joy and sacrifice.

It stretches us and forms us more than anything else.

This retreat is really a spiritual formation retreat for us mothers.

We aren’t going to give you tips and tricks for how to be a better mom. But we are going to press into how motherhood gently leads us to spiritual formation, how relationships are essential for the journey, and how our connection with God spills over to our connection with our families.

This retreat is for women who desire to be mothers some day, all the way to grandmothers, and everyone in between — mothers of babies, toddlers, young children, teenagers, and adult children.

This intergenerational gathering is a chance for all ages and stages of mothers to learn from one another, encourage each other, and simply be together. Because motherhood isn’t meant to be done alone.

The late Dallas Willard said “Spiritual formation…can’t be a private thing… It is a matter of whole-life transformation. You need to seek out others in your community who are pursuing the renovation of the heart.”

And that is exactly what we are going to do together.

We’ve designed this retreat with your needs in mind. Your need for connection with like-minded women, your need for the gentleness of spiritual formation, and ultimately, your need to be strengthened for the task of motherhood.

So come join us October 23rd through 25th for the Intentional Motherhood Retreat in Portland. We can’t wait to see you!

Speakers:

Diane Comer:

Diane Comer is a prolific writer, author, speaker, teacher, and co-founder of Intentional — yet her most profound passion lies in her role as a wife, mother, grandmother, and mentor to parents all over the globe. She deeply desires to help women grow in the art of being women in our cultural moment and come alongside them as they raise their families. Diane is a mother of four grown children and nine grandchildren and feels she is just getting started in her calling to help raise the next generation.

Elizabeth Mosser:

Elizabeth Mosser is a speaker, teacher and co-host of “The Intentional Parents Podcast.” She helps lead Intentional alongside her husband, Brook, and her parents, Phil and Diane Comer. As a mother of four — Duke, Scarlet, Birdie, and Sloane — and with a passion for helping other moms in the dailiness of motherhood, Elizabeth brings wisdom and compassion to every conversation. Her journey of raising a child with disabilities and living with chronic illness has deepened her passion for supporting families facing similar challenges. Though Elizabeth’s journey of motherhood has been different than she had planned, she finds renewed hope each day in the renewing work of Jesus — both now and in the “not yet” — and shares that hope with others.

Together, Diane and Elizabeth form a mother-daughter team, bridging the generations to bring biblical hope, practical help, and healing to parents in their God-given task of raising passionate Jesus followers.
